Inflatable Outdoor Projection Screen

The company Open Air makes inflatable surfaces for movie projection ranging in size from 9' to a massive 40'. The screen is made of a light weight material so the smaller sizes can fit into a large bag for traveling or camping trips where the wildlife isn't as entertaining as Die Hard. Denon Announces Blue-ray SACD Combo

Next month Denon Japan will release it's DVD-A1UD player. The ultra expensive ($5,860 us) unit is capable of playing Blu-ray, DVD, DVD-audio and SACD discs and features an SD / SDHC card slot, DivX support, HDMI 1.3, 1080p60 / 1080p24 output, internal decoding of DTS-HD Master Audio / Dolby TrueHD, 7.1-channel analog outputs, and Denon LINK tecnology. Robot Window Washer

Four MSU mechanical engineering students have designed a robot that clings to a window by vacuum suction and moves back and forth like the Roomba. Called the "Winboni", the robot cleans the window as it moves using tiny felt pads. Watch the youtube video for a demonstration.

Netgears New 1080p Streamer

Although not officially supposed to be announced until CES the specs for Netgears' new Digital Entertainer Elite look pretty good on paper. Dual Band Wireless N for fast streaming and a pretty comprehensive supported format list including the MKV Matroska Multimedia Container that's becoming more and more popular. 6 Year Lamp Life With Liquid Cooling

At this years Cedia a little known OEM supplier, Chilin Technology, announced the worlds first liquid cooled 1080p LED projector. Featuring a Luminus PhlatLight LED in place of a conventional UHP lamp and Texas Instrument's 1080p DMD technology and dissipates the heat directly by water. This technology truly enables the concept of "no lamp replacement" and Chilin expects to achieve up to 50,000 hours under its liquid cooling technology. HP's 26" wall mounted touchscreen

HP is set to release its second generation of all in one touchscreen computers. The TouchSmart IQ804 and IQ816 features a 25.5 inch monitor with 1920×1200 native resolution touchscreen. TouchSmart-specific applications, a TV tuner with remote, integrated webcam, Bluetooth and optional blue-ray are included within its singular casing. 6.7" x 6.7" media centers

Mini-itx (6.7” x 6.7”) motherboards have been around for a while now but for the most part they have been rendered useless for media centers because of low performing on board graphics cards. This summer that changed when Intel introduced a mini-itx motherboard with a on board graphics card capable of 1080p high-definition video playback with hardware decoding.
