(Santa Clara, CA, February 4, 2003) -The DMS 4.4 tm is system for distributing audio throughout a home, office or business. The DMS 4.4 tm by Pragmatic Communications Systems, Inc. now transmits 4 audio inputs to up to 16 zones over category 5 cables. The receiving amplifier/controllers can be up to 1000 feet from the sending unit and the proprietary SuperTranz( technology eliminates problems with ground loops, noise pick-ups, hum, and interference. The sending unit also features a high performance FM & CATV tuner as a built-in sources. Three additional external sources such as satellite radio, CD jukebox, or hard disk audio can be connected.

Each source can be individually controlled from any of the zones either by IR or in-wall keypad. The system comes with an IR, four in-wall amplifiers (24 watts per channel with an optional 36 or 48 watts/channel), and the DMS 4.4 transmitter. The sending unit delivers a dynamic range of > 100 dB, a signal-to-noise rate of > 100 dB and a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 KHz. It is designed to install turn-key in locations constructed with built-in structured wiring.
