Expert to Address 'Software-Based Video in the Meeting Room,' While Yamaha's Speakerphone certified for Skype for Business and Industry's First All-in-One, Wall-Mounted UC Solution to Headline Booth
SUDBURY, Mass. — Feb. 27, 2018 — Revolabs® Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Yamaha Corporation and part of the Yamaha UC department, today announced its product lineup and expert participation at Enterprise Connect, March 12-15 in Orlando, Florida.
"Enterprise Connect is an important conference for us because it gives us a chance to shine a spotlight on our latest innovations and, more importantly, to explore the marketplace and learn more about what our customers need," said Mick Kamihara, chief executive officer, Revolabs. "This year at Enterprise Connect, we're focusing on the ever-evolving huddle space, which is becoming increasingly important in today's business environments. Visitors will see how they can use our solutions to make the most of their collaboration efforts, and we look forward to hearing from customers and other industry experts about where they see the technology going."
On display in Revolabs' booth 907 will be the Yamaha YVC-1000MS, a USB speakerphone and Yamaha's first product certified for Skype for Business. The microphone and speaker system passed Skype for Business Certification Version 3 tests — Microsoft's highest standards — providing natural, clear audio that defines the platform's meeting experience. The unified communications speakerphone is a scalable, flexible solution engineered to support the audio requirements of large meeting rooms, rooms with special table configurations, and even remote education classes or seminars within the Skype for Business application. The intuitive design provides fast, simple connection to a PC via USB and/or to smartphones with Bluetooth®. Featuring Yamaha's adaptive echo cancellation and other unique sound-processing technologies developed over the years, the system facilitates stress-free conversation.
Revolabs will also demonstrate the Yamaha CS-700 Video Sound Bar™, an all-in-one, wall-mounted UC solution engineered to simplify installation and deployment and ensure the highest quality audio and video in huddle and small meeting spaces. It is the first solution to optimize audio, video, and collaboration capabilities into a single-unit, space-saving system. The CS-700 boasts an adaptive beamforming microphone array, which guarantees that every word is perfectly captured and delivered to the far end; four Yamaha speaker elements to provide the highest degree of audio intelligibility; and a wide-angle HD camera that captures every meeting participant in clear detail. Through a single USB cable, the CS-700 is ready to connect to an organization's chosen UC platform — such as Skype for Business, Cisco® Spark, GoToConference™, Zoom, and many others — so users can get started quickly without wrestling with disparate video, audio, and collaboration components. In addition, the CS-700's integrated network management system allows IT staff to deploy and remotely manage each unit from one location, increasing service response and efficiency.
Finally, Holger Stoltze, senior product manager, will participate in a panel titled, "Software-Based Video in the Meeting Room." Stoltze and his fellow panelists will provide insight into the pros and cons of software-based video and offer guidance to help attendees choose the right solution for their environments. The 45-minute session begins at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Mar. 15, in room Sun D.
