ProSource Rounds Out New Vendors With ICE Cable Systems and MantelMount

Manufacturers Offer Innovative Solutions to Real-World Challenges

SOUTHLAKE, Texas — Feb. 27, 2018 — ProSource, the largest audio, video, and integration buying group in the United States, announced today the addition of two new vendors: ICE Cable Systems, a premium wire and cable manufacturer; and MantelMount, a producer of innovative TV viewing products.

Founded in 2004, ICE Cable Systems is a supplier of low-voltage wire and cable products for the residential CEDIA market, with a strong commercial division and over 20 international distributors. Headquartered in Los Angeles with an additional warehouse in Philadelphia, ICE's leading-edge innovations help installers operate more efficiently to save time and money.

MantelMount's patented construction combines high-quality automotive pistons, lightweight alloys, and state-of-the-art counterbalance technology with a proprietary recess box that mounts a TV flush to the wall. The company's products allow anyone to easily pull a large flatscreen TV down off the wall and suspend it at eye level for the perfect viewing experience.

"ProSource welcomes our newest vendors and their solutions to real-world challenges," said Dave Workman, CEO and President of ProSource. "ICE Cable Systems' complete lineup of cable and accessories is a great benefit for our members. With a bevy of exclusive features, MantelMount provides a quality solution, offering convenience to customers."

"We listened to the problems installers were having with bulk cable and created a number of time-saving and performance-enhancing innovations," remarked Brian Rizzo, CEO and Founder of ICE Cable Systems. "With ICE, you get the good stuff for the price of generic."

"Although mounting a TV high on a wall— especially above a fireplace—is a popular option, it creates a poor viewing angle," stated Bill Boyer, Director of Sales, MantelMount. "Our MantelMount unit solves this common problem by allowing consumers to bring their TVs down to eye level for an optimal viewing experience."

ELK Products -C1M1 Dual-Path Alarm Communicators with Remote Services

C1M1 offers a truly significant reduction in transmission time in comparison to other communicators that rely on dial capture or data bus decoding. This can result in quicker response time to emergency situations which could save lives and assets. By providing both IP and cellular pathways, C1M1 provides the reliability installers are looking for in an alarm communicator. C1M1 eliminates port forwarding and extra fees for remote access. Installers can remotely upload/download programming changes to M1 controls over IP or cellular using ElkRP2. Consumers can control the M1 remotely via the free ElkLink mobile app and web portal, as well as eKeypad and M1 Touch Pro apps. Other IP-based software and interface partners can connect to the M1 control over the local network through C1M1. C1M1 also provides email/text notifications for arm, disarm, and alarm events. ELK-C1M14GSM supports GSM (AT&T/T-Mobile) networks and ELK-C1M1CDMA supports CDMA (Verizon) networks.
