Voice Control For A Seamless TP-Link Smart Home Experience

BREA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--TP-Link®, a leading global provider of consumer and business networking products, today announced that its entire family of smart home products are now compatible with the Google Assistant. With the integration of Google Assistant on Google Home, Google Pixel, and compatible Android phones, consumers may now easily control their TP-Link Smart Wi-Fi Bulbs, Smart Plugs and Smart Wi-Fi Switches with the sound of their voice.

Google Assistant integration for Google Home and Google Pixel is enabled via TP-Link's Kasa App. Once enabled, users can control their TP-Link smart home devices via voice control by saying "Ok Google," "Hey Google" or "Hi Google," followed by instructions and the name of the device. Enabled smart devices are named via the Kasa App. Google Assistant voice control provides the ability to switch smart devices on/off, or provide more detailed commands, including the ability to dim/brighten the lights or change the color of any color-enabled TP-Link Smart Wi-Fi Bulb. Current color name options for color-enabled TP-Link Smart Wi-Fi Bulbs include yellow, red, blue, purple, orange, green and pink.
