Project Management
Projects are the central area of the D-Tools SI 2016 workflow. Users can create and assign locations and systems, and while adding products to the project from the catalog, they are essentially building a bill of materials or equipment list. Labor calculations are automatically assigned based on established labor rates and estimated time to install. As users add products and packages, SI is automatically calculating an estimated install price. All documentation is generated from the project file, from Client reports (such as Proposals, Contracts, etc.) to Drawings (via D-Tools' integration with Visio and AutoCAD), as well as installation and management reports.

Building upon the architecture of the System Integrator platform which includes a robust D-Tools Cloud infrastructure, SI 2016 adds over 50 significant new productivity features and enhancements that make it faster and easier than ever for Commercial AV, Higher Ed, Security, and Residential integration professionals to perform key functions of their business—estimation, system design, and project management.
