Kickstarter - Ark, a 4-in-1 Bluetooth Speaker with Dual Parts, Launches Crowdfunding Campaign on Kickstarter

Cowin, the company behind the two-piece speaker system, plans to raise £35K in 30 days to further mass production of the product

Ark, a two-piece speaker system that combines a detachable mini Sound Bar and a powerful ported subwoofer Bass Station, is now funding on Kickstarter to raise £35K in 30 days. Ark's clever dual speaker design works seamlessly together delivering high quality audio across the full acoustic precision range.

"Regular portable speakers have average sound power, but poor bass, and regular home speaker systems have good sound power, but are not portable," James Feng, Cowin Company Director, said. "Ark is the perfect balance of portability and power. It is your powerful home speaker which can deliver phenomenal levels of bass and can also be your ‘go anywhere' portable speaker with its removable Sound Bar."

The dual parts of Ark can be connected into a single speaker unit, using its unique Magnatec technology, or positioned separately while still working in unison to adapt with any room's individual acoustics. This adaptability makes Ark perfect to connect to a Bluetooth enabled television, game console, smartphone, MP3 player, tablet or computer for super rich audio playback. The Magnatec technology connecting the Bass Station and the portable Sound Bar, called Cruze, also provides wireless charging for the Sound Bar and compatible mobile phones.

Not just about flexibility, Ark has been built to deliver superior sound. Two speaker drivers, passive radiators and a 3.5" ported subwoofer come together to deliver a new dimension to audio and music. The subwoofer enclosure is ported, so the subwoofer cone has greater freedom of motion. The port redirects sound from the rear of the cone and adds it to the sound coming from the front, making the bass louder. Users can add multiple Bass Stations for an expandable listening experience and intense sound throughout their home.

Ark will be available via Cowin's Kickstarter campaign until February 28. Limited super early bird prices are available starting at £99. To learn more, visit the campaign page at http://bit.ly/CowinArk_KS.
