Deezer compatibility, Snapshot Favorites and enhanced playlist management added to Mirage Music Players MMS-2A and MMS-5A
rmonk, NY. September 10, 2014 - Autonomic, makers of the finest whole-house music systems, has announced the introduction of new features and enhanced functionality for their Mirage Music Players MMS-2A and MMS-5A. The upgrades include compatibility with the internationally robust Deezer web-based music streaming service, innovative Snapshot function and playlist management features. The new features and functionality will become available in early October, 2014.
Deezer helps broaden the Mirage Music Player's appeal internationally, with the service now available in over 180 countries worldwide. The service also offers a sizable music library of roughly 30 million licensed tracks from many major and independent record labels as well as connectivity to over 30,000 radio channels.
Autonomic's engineers have done it again with the new Snapshot feature. This exciting new functionality creates the ultimate music mix by enabling users to capture a Snapshot of their musical experience as it is happening and recall it at any time from the favorites menu on their Mirage Music Player. The mix can include a blend of locally stored digital music and streaming content from services such as Pandora, Spotify and Rhapsody, all elegantly sewn together in a customized queue by Autonomic's TuneBridge technology. Management of playlists has been enhanced as well, with fingertip control of advanced editing capabilities enabling the MMS user to swiftly delete, rename, reorder, add or edit content within their favorite playlists.
When using the web-based Mirage Media Controller, the navigation buttons have been renamed, making it easier for users to differentiate their local content libraries from their streaming content services. These enhancements are part of Autonomic's ongoing initiative to improve products and services for integrators and end users alike.
Integrators will appreciate the new Mirage Media Synchronization software for Windows, which mirrors the ergonomic advantages of the latest version designed for the Mac environment. The new software is faster and offers configurability options-if syncing iTunes content, it can be configured to sync the selected playlists and their content, all playlists and their content or the entire library. Synchronized content is actually copied to the Mirage Media Server, so the contributing computer no longer has to be available on the network once the synchronization has been completed. Additionally, integrators will benefit from an enhanced MMS configuration page, which now allows them to assign, monitor and access servers in the field and monitor NAS drive scans, enabling them to easily see when content has been fully uploaded. Integrators will be able to gain real-time management capability via the Autonomic Dealer Zone Device Manager.
This exciting new functionality follows the recent unveiling of the Mirage Music Player MMS-2A, a whole-house entertainment solution that delivers pure, reference quality high-resolution audio through three independent streams to as many as 96 zones. A new generation of the world's first cloud-based media server, the MMS-2A will store, sync, schedule and stream an entire music collection along with the most popular online streaming services. The MMS-2A also delivers on all of the features that have become the hallmark of the Autonomic brand, including access to the most popular streaming services (PANDORA® internet radio, Rhapsody®, TuneIn Radio, SiriusXM Internet Radio, Slacker, Napster and Spotify), cloud synchronization, which brings together music from multiple locations into a single collection that can be accessed from anywhere in the world, three onboard AirPlay receivers enabling guest computer/device streaming, and Autonomic's exclusive TuneBridge™ technology (patent pending), making it easier than ever to listen to, discover and explore your favorite music styles and genres. The MMS-2A is available with pre-programmed modules to integrate with all of the major control systems: Crestron, RTI, Control4, Elan, AMX, and more. Alternative control options include the Mirage Media Controller app for iOS and Android devices, Airplay control and the Mirage Web Interface. All of this functionality at an astonishing MSRP of $1995.
New Mirage Audio System packages available: Autonomic is now offering Mirage Audio System 2 or 5-stream base packs leveraging the MMS-2A and MMS-5A music players, giving integrators a complete range of high-resolution whole-house audio distribution systems. 16-zone packages start at $499 per zone ($7995 MSRP) with 4-Zone, 2-Stream packages as low as $3,995 MSRP.
