Fusion Introduces Single Zone Audiophile Streamer

Company's new "Signature" utilizes a high-end Burr-Brown DAC design at an extremely affordable price point. Also includes AirPlay.

Danville, CA, 5/15/14 - Fusion Research announced today that it is shipping a new audiophile single zone audio streamer called Signature, this product replaces the OMS-0, which is being discontinued.

"The new Signature rounds out our product line with a high quality audiophile-level single source solution that gives the integrator a new choice for top quality in a smaller job." Said Vice President of Sales Ingo Schmoldt, "So many of the current solutions are consumer based products which dealers try to fit into their projects; with the new Signature, they get HD quality audio output that is just not available on consumer based products."

The Signature is priced very competitively at $499 retail and is sold exclusively through the custom integration channel. The Burr-Brown DAC allows the Signature to output at 24-bit/192KHz and is the first Ovation product to ship with AirPlay capability. The Signature can be expanded to two discrete music sources with the use of an equally new Ovation Wireless Player (OWP2). It also uses the existing Ovation drivers for automation partners.

Regarding automation drivers, Fusion has recently re-written most of the two-way drivers in the last several months to include special features and enhancements not previously available in the older versions. This includes RTI, Elan g!, Savant and soon to be released Control4 & Crestron drivers
