QMotion Recognized with Gold CE Pro Quest for Quality Award

Innovative automated window coverings company receives Gold Quest for Quality award for exceptional customer service

PENSACOLA, Fla. April 03, 2014-QMotion Advanced Shading Systems is the winner of the prestigious 2014 Gold CE Pro Quest for Quality Award for Customer Service.

The recognition is special to the integration and automation industry, because it is awarded based on customer service at all levels of a company, not just the innovative products that company may be known for.

CE Pro's Quest for Quality Award is part of an annual contest sponsored by CE Pro, a printed and online industry resource for consumer electronics.

QMotion was nominated for the award by CE Pro readers, who answered open-ended questionnaires sent to subscribers.

"The Quest for Quality Awards are unique because they recognize services, not products," said Jason Knott, CE Pro's editor-in-chief. "This is an award to be shouted from the mountaintops to your integrators/clients and your internal staff."

The award underscores QMotion's guiding principle to provide top service and the best solutions for dealers, rep firms and anyone using QMotion products.

"We put customers first, listening carefully to concerns and feedback so we can learn how to provide better service and more effective products," said Gene Demestre, vice president of sales and marketing for QMotion.

"QMotion has a team approach to delivering superior customer service," Demestre said. "It starts with our customer service representatives, who are able to work directly with the design engineers as needed to continually improve both products and service."

"At QMotion, we constantly encourage dealers to provide feedback and offer suggestions for improvement. And we are always looking for new ways to improve our relationships with customers," Demestre said.
The Quality Award is the most recent recognition for QMotion Advanced Shading Systems. The company won the 2012 award for "Best New Technical Innovation" from the Window Covering Manufacturing Association for a system design that significantly extends battery life and reduces noise. QMotion also created the first automated shades featuring a patented manual override and is the only automated window treatment offering products that can be operated by hand, remote or smart device.

Installers can remotely upload/download programming changes to M1 controls over IP or cellular using ElkRP2. Consumers can control the M1 remotely via the free ElkLink mobile app and web portal, as well as eKeypad and M1 Touch Pro apps. Other IP-based software and interface partners can connect to the M1 control over the local network through C1M1. C1M1 also provides email/text notifications for arm, disarm, and alarm events.
