Port Chester, NY - November 6, 2013 - Twenty-five years ago InnerSpace Electronics, Inc. opened its doors in the NY Metro community, lead by co-founders Andrea and Barry Reiner, who together have collectively designed and installed hundreds of custom automation and home theater systems to date. This year alone has included some impressive award wins for Innerspace Electronics, including the company's 6th nod from the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA) during this year's 2013 EXPO.

Each year the CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles Awards recognize the best of the best in innovative, beautifully executed home technology projects. Set to inspire, the CEDIA Electronic Lifestyles Awards embody the highest level of custom installation excellence, reaching a broad audience of industry professionals, including CEDIA members, interior designers, builders, architects, manufacturers and their customers. Showcasing InnerSpace Electronics' ability to rejuvenate an existing custom installation, the firm was honored with the Bronze Technical Design award for Best Integrated Home, $100k & Under. The award-winning space featured extensive updates to the existing control system and theater, including control via Apple iOS devices and remote monitoring access.

Upon completion, the impressive 20,000 square foot home now boasts a Savant Control System with 18 zones of audio, access to Internet radio, 24 zones of touch-of-a-button climate control, energy-efficient Lutron Homeworks lighting control and Lutron Sivoia shade control, as well as a fully integrated GE Interlogix security system with 32 security cameras, all viewable on Apple iOS devices. Adding further automation functionality, Jandy pool control was integrated into the Savant control system, empowering the homeowners with full control over the swimming pool and hot tub system. Overall the team at InnerSpace Electronics worked diligently to ensure the upgrade would not interfere with the family's day-to-day life, nor detract from the home's beautiful d©cor, highlighting the firm's ability to deliver cutting-edge technology that blends well with elegant surroundings.

"Being recognized by CEDIA is an incredible honor and something we are undoubtedly proud of," said InnerSpace Electronics co-founder and vice president Andrea Reiner. "To be named among the top custom installation projects is something every electronic systems designer strives for. It speaks volumes for the commitment we have towards our craft and our mission to better the lives of our customers through technology."

Aside from relishing their esteemed industry award, InnerSpace Electronics is set to celebrate their 25th Anniversary in a big way - opening their doors to local architects, builders and designers, in hopes to spread further collaboration throughout the trades. On Thursday, November 7th, from 5:00 - 8:30pm InnerSpace Electronics will host an interactive trade-to-trade networking event at the Savant Experience Center in Manhattan (561 Broadway, New York NY 10012), which will include two sessions of an approved class which will allow attendees to accrue AIA credits. The courses will cover "Wireless Lighting Control for New Construction and Retrofit for Energy Savings". The event will also double as an official anniversary celebration, including cocktails, appetizers, and cake to celebrate 25 years of custom installation success across the NY Metro region.

"Our industry is in a constant state of evolution, much of which is driven by changes in technology trends, formats and standards. It takes both dedication and passion to stay abreast of these changes and ensure they are reflected in our work," said co-founder and president Barry Reiner. "I believe that what has made InnerSpace successful for the last quarter of a century is our unwavering commitment to growing with our clients. We have taken the opportunity to implement new market trends and product developments into the services we offer, helping to both exceed client expectations as well as deliver effortless simplicity that improves their lives.
