Vivint Honored for Excellence as Security Installer and Customer Service Provider

Home Automation Leader Wins Top Honors from Confirmit ACE Awards for Outstanding Customer Service--- SAMMY Awards Recognize Vivint as Finalist for Security Installer of the Year

PROVO, Utah--Vivint, the largest home automation services company in North America, today announced it was chosen as a winner of the 2013 Confirmit ACE (Achievement in Customer Excellence) Awards. The company was also honored as a finalist of the 2013 SAMMY (Sales and Marketing) Awards for "Installer of the Year" among large companies with more than 200 employees.

The recognition builds on Vivint's strong reputation as a home security installer and customer service provider. While most home security companies sell customer contracts to outside vendors after the initial installation period, Vivint's in-house staff monitors customers' systems 24 hours a day throughout the year and provides all ongoing technical and account support. In addition, Vivint trains and employs more than 700 field technicians stationed throughout the company's service area, which covers the U.S. and Canada.

"We are committed to providing the highest-quality service for our customers and we are honored to be recognized for such an important component of our business," said Steve Dixon, vice president of customer experience and operations for Vivint. "We want our customers to know that the things that matter most to them are always protected."

The Confirmit ACE Awards recognize companies with outstanding feedback programs and commitment to increased customer, employee, and partner satisfaction. Security Sales & Integration magazine's SAMMY Awards, now in their 18th year, is the industry's only program of its kind to recognize and honor installing security dealers and integrators for their marketing, business, installation, and overall excellence.

Vivint offers an array of home automation and security products ranging from remote-controlled door locks, alarms and motion detectors to sensors that can be programmed to send alerts to mobile devices when specific events occur, like if a window is broken or when exterior doors are opened. ELK Products -C1M1 Dual-Path Alarm Communicators with Remote Services

C1M1 offers a truly significant reduction in transmission time in comparison to other communicators that rely on dial capture or data bus decoding. This can result in quicker response time to emergency situations which could save lives and assets. By providing both IP and cellular pathways, C1M1 provides the reliability installers are looking for in an alarm communicator. C1M1 eliminates port forwarding and extra fees for remote access. Installers can remotely upload/download programming changes to M1 controls over IP or cellular using ElkRP2. Consumers can control the M1 remotely via the free ElkLink mobile app and web portal, as well as eKeypad and M1 Touch Pro apps. Other IP-based software and interface partners can connect to the M1 control over the local network through C1M1. C1M1 also provides email/text notifications for arm, disarm, and alarm events. ELK-C1M14GSM supports GSM (AT&T/T-Mobile) networks and ELK-C1M1CDMA supports CDMA (Verizon) networks.
