Crestron is welcoming back returning Integration Awards judge and InAVate Editor, Chris Fitzsimmons.

Crestron is pleased to announce the call for entries for the 2012 Commercial Integration Awards. The awards celebrate the best commercial installations featuring Crestron Integrated by Design™ solutions. Winners will be announced and recognized during a special ceremony at Europe's premier tradeshow, ISE 2013 on Wednesday, 30 January at 3 p.m. at Crestron Booth C24, Hall 2.

We encourage innovative and creative applications of our technology, and Crestron's unlimited flexibility allows for some truly amazing and unique systems to be built," said Robin van Meeuwen, Crestron International VP of Sales and Marketing. "The Integration Awards celebrate the hard work of installers who contribute to the growing success and smooth operation of businesses, schools, hospitals, and universities."

This year's projects will be put through their paces by an expert panel of judges, ensuring that this year's winners represent the best of the best in commercial installations. Crestron even added a category for best retail installation to highlight the growing vertical market.

Crestron is welcoming back returning Integration Awards judge and InAVate Editor, Chris Fitzsimmons. Chris is an authority in the commercial installation industry and has many years of experience judging commercial projects for Crestron and the InAVation awards. "I'm delighted to again be helping with the Crestron Commercial Integration Awards. I look forward to reviewing some exemplary commercial projects."

ISE Managing Director, Mike Blackman will be judging the awards for the first time. Mike leads the industry's flagship tradeshow and brings a wealth of knowledge to the panel: "High standards of work in electronic systems integration should always be celebrated because only by designing and installing systems to a high standard can our professional community advance and grow. Crestron's Integration Awards programme recognises best practices in system design, planning, installation and support. I look forward to seeing real-world applications of the products our industry announces and displays at ISE."

Peter Lloyd is also joining the panel this year for the first time, bringing with him knowledge of all things AV. Peter is the former Editor-in-Chief of AV Magazine and is now working as a freelance writer and consultant, specialising in the AV sector which he has covered for more than 30 years. Peter has participated in nine AV Awards processes and has also judged and chaired other AV competitions in the U.S. and across Europe.

Entries must be received before 10th January 2013 and should include projects completed between 1st of July 2011 and 30th of June 2012. Crestron recognizes the best of the best in the following categories:
