This expansion will allow Formetco to provide its clients with digital billboards between six to ten weeks faster than other digital manufactures.

Duluth, GA - Formetco today announced plans to add 40,000 square feet to its digital billboard production facility by September, a significant expansion of the company's 190,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in Duluth, GA. The additional space is expected to increase production capacity and reduce lead times.

Todd Heller, Director of Digital Development at Formetco and Manager of Formetco's Research and Development facility in Minneapolis MN said, "This expansion plan will increase our production capacity to 75 LED Digital Billboard Bulletins and 50 commercial EMC LED Signs a month. Along with increased staffing in several departments and several new major industry-leading software initiatives, the new manufacturing space will insure Formetco continues to stay ahead of its competitors, provide exceptional service and always exceed our customers' expectations."

Until now, the majority of digital billboard manufacturers have had an average lead time of 10 weeks, an often frustrating delay after months of work on ground leases, permitting, and financing arrangements. Formetco's expanded capacity will allow the company to cut that lead time by over 75%, providing LED digital billboard purchasers a much faster return on their investment.

"Formetco's commitment to its digital billboard customers is to manufacture the best looking and most reliable digital billboard and to maintain the industry's shortest turnaround time," says Jock Gibb, Vice President of Sales. "This expansion will allow Formetco to provide its clients with digital billboards between six to ten weeks faster than other digital manufactures. Whether we are producing a 30 sheet poster size digital billboard or a spectacular 20x60, clients can expect shipments within 2 weeks, on average, from the date they make their deposit."

Formetco's efforts to produce the highest resolution digital billboard, coupled with outstanding reliability and the industry's fastest delivery time, has proven to be a successful business model. The company has already more than doubled its digital billboard growth from 2011 and is projecting another year of triple digit growth in 2013.

Founded in 1969, Formetco has grown to become the world's largest full-service supplier to the Out-of-Home industry, with headquarters in Duluth, Georgia and a Digital Research and Development facility in Minnesota. Formetco manufactures the highest resolution digital billboard with the fastest delivery time in the industry today.
