PHOENIX AUDIO TECHNOLOGIES SHOWCASES UPGRADED DUET LINE WITH NEW HD AUDIO QUALITY AND 16KHZ BANDWIDTH

Phoenix Audio Technologies completes development of significant software upgrade for Duet line of products.

Phoenix Audio Technologies, a leading developer of audio communication solutions for Voice Over IP (VoIP), Web Conferencing, Distance Learning, and Video Conferencing applications, announces that it has completed the development of a significant software upgrade for its Duet line of products and will be unveiling these advancements to the Duet line at this year's InfoComm (Booth N1311) show.

The upgrade includes HD wide band audio with 16KHz bandwidth as well as full synchronization of the audio controls between the Duet, the Phoenix Audio Setup Utility, and the operating system's mixer.

"The Duet line has always boasted high quality audio, especially compared to its compact size. However, with this new upgrade we've elevated the Duet's performance to a new level and you can truly hear a difference in the sound," says Joseph Marash, CEO, Phoenix Audio Technologies. "We've always been proud of its performance, durability, and rich set of features, and now the 16KHz bandwidth audio is one more thing that propels it to the head of the pack."

The new software will be available on all new Duet speakerphones, including the Duet Executive, Duet VCA, and the Duet PCS.

Along with the new software upgrade, all Duets now come in new eco-friendly packaging that includes a padded carrying case. The compact cases are made from a durable material and are designed to protect the Duets while traveling.

Phoenix Audio Technologies will have its product lines on display at this year's InfoComm show (Booth N1311) and at various vendor booths throughout the show's Audio Pavilion.

Universal Robots Add a Sense of Touch in New e-Series Cobots with Built-in Force/Torque Sensor and Re-Designed User Interface

With the new e-Series cobot line, Universal Robots raises the bar for cobots, adding unique new features while significantly strengthening the four core principles defining collaborative robots: fast set-up, easy programming, flexible deployment, and safe operation. With a new built-in, tool-centric Force/Torque sensor the e-Series is ready to take on applications requiring force control right out of the box. A repeatability of 30 micron means the new cobots are suitable for very precise finishing, assembly and electronics tasks. A re-designed user interface decreases cognitive load and expedites program development, while a new externally accessible, 500Hz system bus enables more complex motion control algorithms or profiles.
