Alteva Senior Channel Manager to Speak at The Socie of Telecommunications tyConsultants' 35th Anniversary Fall Conference

Bridging the Divide between Premise-based and Hosted Solutions

PHILADELPHIA, PA & ORLANDO, FL - October 24, 2011 - Alteva, a subsidiary of Warwick Valley Telephone Company (NASDAQ: WWVY) referred to as WVT Communications Group, and cloud -based Unified Communications (UC) solution provider headquartered in Philadelphia, today announced that its Senior Channel Manager Guy Yasika, will present at The Society of Telecommunications Consultants' (STC) 2011 Fall Conference, October 25 -28 in Orlando, FL. The session titled, "How to Write an Effective RFP that Bridges the Divide between Premise -based and Hosted Solutions," will take place October 28th, 10:00 -10:50am.

"Consultants working with premise -based equipment know how to write a premise RFP, but with the rise of cloud -based technologies, it's important that the RFP encompasses both technologies," said Yasika. "There IS a difference between these solutions and it's not as simple as comparing apples to oranges since they have different associated costs, benefits and are delivered in different ways." Attendees will learn how to evaluate hosted solutions, enabling them to provide their customer with all available options to help them make an informed decision about which solution best fits their organization.

Yasika will also present an Alteva customer case study during Vendor Day Presentations on Wednesday, October 26th from 9:45 -10:05am. Implementing a communications program in advance ensures that best practices and the right technologies are in place. Alteva provided The Greater Kansas City Chapter of the Red Cross with a "call center in a box" - on -demand call center solution - that allows remote agents to provide the whereabouts of disaster victims to relatives and friends. Yasika will discuss utilizing hosted UC solutions for creative uses in an organization's communication efforts.

The STC Fall conference event features industry leader presentations on emerging technologies, client applications and practice management. The participation of consultant members, leading telecommunications and networking companies and major end users forms a powerful nexus for the exchange of critical information.
