Panamax/Furman and Crestron Introduce New TCP/IP and Two -Way Serial Driver Modules for BlueBOLT(R) -Compatible Power Management and UPS Products

Panamax/Furman is announcing, as an advancement of their ongoing partnership with Crestron, a suite of TCP/IP and two-way serial driver modules for Panamax/Furman BlueBOLT(R)-compatible power management products and UPS solutions.

Panamax/Furman is announcing, as an advancement of their ongoing partnership with Crestron, a suite of TCP/IP and two -way serial driver modules for Panamax/Furman BlueBOLT(R) -compatible power management products and UPS solutions. Blending the point -of -use local control provided by Crestron's control and automation systems with BlueBOLT's cloud -based remote power and energy management platform, the new modules empower dealers with unprecedented functionality and accessibility to their installed systems.

The Panamax M4315 -PRO and M4320 -PRO power management products include both TCP/IP and RS -232 serial control interface cards, allowing dealers to select the interface that best suits their control application. Both interfaces provide control over eight discrete AC outlets with real -time voltage and current feedback, in addition to an internal temperature sensor. If dealers choose to use the preinstalled TCP/IP interface card with a Crestron control system, BlueBOLT functionality is retained, enabling simple remote access, energy management, optional scheduling of conservation events, email alerts, and even auto -rebooting of connected network devices.

The Furman F1500 and Panamax MB1500 advanced battery -backup solutions include preinstalled two -way serial interface cards, with the option of upgrading to TCP/IP control through the BlueBOLT -CV1 card (sold separately). These feature -rich, BlueBOLT -compatible products offer four outlet control banks, critical and non -critical load -shedding configuration options, and an IR control link for front -projection displays.

"The new driver modules for our BlueBOLT -compatible power management and UPS products provide dealers and their clients with the ultimate in convenience and accessibility," said Dave Keller, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Panamax/Furman. "Easy integration with Crestron's control and automation systems allows access to the full functionality for these solutions via a Crestron touch panel. When combined with BlueBOLT remote power and energy management features, individual outlets or outlet banks can be controlled from any Web browser or Web -enabled mobile device, drastically reducing service calls."

The drivers are available from Crestron's Integrated Partner Program website at http://www.crestron.com/partnerships/integrated_partner_program/.

Universal Robots - Collaborative Robot Solutions

Universal Robots - Collaborative Robot Solutions

Universal Robots is a result of many years of intensive research in robotics. The product portfolio includes the UR5 and UR10 models that handle payloads of up to 11.3 lbs. and 22.6 lbs. respectively. The six-axis robot arms weigh as little as 40 lbs. with reach capabilities of up to 51 inches. Repeatability of +/- .004" allows quick precision handling of even microscopically small parts. After initial risk assessment, the collaborative Universal Robots can operate alongside human operators without cumbersome and expensive safety guarding. This makes it simple and easy to move the light-weight robot around the production, addressing the needs of agile manufacturing even within small- and medium sized companies regarding automation as costly and complex. If the robots come into contact with an employee, the built-in force control limits the forces at contact, adhering to the current safety requirements on force and torque limitations. Intuitively programmed by non-technical users, the robot arms go from box to operation in less than an hour, and typically pay for themselves within 195 days. Since the first UR robot entered the market in 2009, the company has seen substantial growth with the robotic arms now being sold in more than 50 countries worldwide.
