Since the launch of Dolby® Surround 7.1 one year ago 25 feature films have been mixed in 7.1, making it one of the most quickly adopted Dolby cinema audio formats ever. Filmmakers, sound mixers, directors, and other postproduction professionals have embraced 7.1 because it brings a more exciting experience to 2D movies, and gives content creators even more control over audio placement for 3D movies.
In the session, industry leaders and innovators will discuss how 7.1 audio impacts entertainment and what is in store for the future of surround sound.
