SENSIO at the 2011 NAB Show
In 2010, 3D broadcasting went from possibility to reality and SENSIO Technologies was there every step of the way. A major milestone was the 2010 FIFA World Cup(TM), broadcast in live 3D and brought to 33 countries through SENSIO technology. Judged "Best 3D TV Technology or Project" by Cable and Satellite International (CSI), SENSIO(R) Hi -Fi 3D, the flagship 3D -enabling product line, was adopted by major TV manufacturers and cable TV distributors this past year.
At the 2011 NAB Show, SENSIO - - ever -mindful of the economic and resource constraints facing equipment manufacturers today - - will be presenting a newly expanded offering that specifically addresses the broadcast industry's concerns about image quality and compatibility in 3D, right down the line. The company will be demonstrating its end -to -end solution in partners' equipment, and will be present at the Miranda Technologies booth N2515 in the North Hall.
"Our recent acquisition of Algolith's best -in -class format -conversion and noise -reduction technologies enables us to offer targeted responses to both the technical and business needs of our clients," said Nicholas Routhier, SENSIO President and CEO. C1M1 offers a truly significant reduction in transmission time in comparison to other communicators that rely on dial capture or data bus decoding. This can result in quicker response time to emergency situations which could save lives and assets. By providing both IP and cellular pathways, C1M1 provides the reliability installers are looking for in an alarm communicator. C1M1 eliminates port forwarding and extra fees for remote access. Installers can remotely upload/download programming changes to M1 controls over IP or cellular using ElkRP2. Consumers can control the M1 remotely via the free ElkLink mobile app and web portal, as well as eKeypad and M1 Touch Pro apps. Other IP-based software and interface partners can connect to the M1 control over the local network through C1M1. C1M1 also provides email/text notifications for arm, disarm, and alarm events. ELK-C1M14GSM supports GSM (AT&T/T-Mobile) networks and ELK-C1M1CDMA supports CDMA (Verizon) networks.
