Atlanta, GA, September 23, 2010 - Denon Electronics, a premier manufacturer of high -quality home entertainment components celebrating 100 years of innovation and technology leadership, is proud to announce the availability of a new Remote App for four of its acclaimed "Network 11 Series" audio/video receivers, including the AVR -4311CI (SRP: $1,999), AVR -3311CI (SRP: $1,199) and AVR -991 (SRP: $999), as well as the company's new 100th Anniversary Product Collection Model AVR -A100 (SRP: $2,499). Denon's new Remote App is a beneficial lifestyle application for owners of Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices that literally turns a user's Apple touchscreen into a fully functional remote control for a total networked home entertainment system. The new Remote App is now available for demo purposes at Apple's App Store. This will be followed by a free firmware update for owners of Denon's AVR -3311CI and AVR -991 expected to be available by the end of September. (The new AVR -A100 and AVR -4311CI already include built -in Remote App firmware.)

Easy Control of Denon A/V Receivers via iPhone and iPad!
With the Denon Remote App, users can now take control of their home entertainment in an exciting new way. Four separate screen modes provide remote control access to everything from audio tuning to networking and switching capabilities. For instance, one Remote App screen lets users control their Denon receiver's basic functions, including power on/off, volume, input selection, surround sound modes, etc. Other screens let users delve deeper into the many features and capabilities of their Denon AVR and home theater system, from choosing multi -zone networking to content -streaming to tuner commands, radio station pre -sets, balancing the audio soundfield for specific room parameters and more.
