"This course is a great place to get started or to brush up on some of your skills with experts on hand to answer any questions. I would recommend RIS to anyone in the home automation industry, whether you are new to the business or you have a lot of experience."

RIS includes a two -day Marketing, Sales, Client Management and Business Development course, a two -day Design and Hands -on Technical Training course and a one -day Level II Programming and Installation course. The $200 early bird discount is available for students enrolled in both classes, dropping the tuition to $995 ($795 each additional person). Tuition is $295 for the Level II course, or $225 when combined with another course.

"In an industry where one small installation mistake can cost many dollars or one small incorrect business practice can cost thousands of dollars in unpaid invoices, integrators are paying for training one way or another. And by far the most expensive training is in the field at the school of hard knocks," said Ken Kerr of Home Controls. "One of the best investments an integrator can make is at RIS, where he can learn the do's and don'ts of business and system installations focusing directly on our industry. More than ever, now is the time to invest in yourself."

RIS has been awarded with a CEA TechHome Mark of Excellence Award for Best Training Program, and a TBX OTTO Award for Best Vendor -Provided Home Tech Training. Home Controls is a CEDIA Professional Certification CEU Provider, offering 15 CEUs for the five -days of RIS training.
