Panamax at the 2010 International CES:
Panamax is the expert in power management technology and its products easily integrate with the Control4 platform. As part of Control4's Partner Pavilion at CES 2010, Panamax will introduce BlueBOLT™, a new technology providing secure, hosted IP system control over compatible Panamax and Furman products. Offering unprecedented ease of use, BlueBOLT combines a groundbreaking, intuitive interface and simple plug -and -play operation to allow custom electronics installers and integrators to conveniently monitor and control power to home theater equipment - from simple system reboots to comprehensive monitoring of power status - from anywhere in the world. BlueBOLT -compatible products on display will include the MB1500 and new M4315 -PRO.

"We are pleased to have another opportunity to participate with Control4 during CES as we continue our great relationship, and look forward to extending and developing new IP -controllable professional custom installed power management and battery back -up solutions," said Dave Keller, senior vice president of sales and marketing for Panamax/Furman.

New Panamax Products and Technologies on Display at CES:

BlueBOLT™ leapfrogs other hosted IP solutions by offering unprecedented ease of use through a uniquely rich, modern graphical user interface ( that allows installers to monitor multiple installations across multiple locations. There are no static IP addresses to obtain, port numbers to remember, or new ISP accounts to configure. Unlike traditional IP systems that require a dedicated IT professional or programmer to set up, BlueBOLT offers true plug -and -play operation. Users simply connect any Panamax or Furman product equipped with a BlueBOLT IP communications card to the Internet, and the unit will find its home server and be ready to use with minimal configuration.

BlueBOLT allows individual outlets or outlet banks to be power -cycled from any Web browser or Web -enabled mobile device - drastically reducing service calls. For Internet routers, outlets can be assigned to power cycle automatically if an Internet connection is lost. As BlueBOLT -compatible products provide a wide range of remotely controlled features, BlueBOLT's modular nature allows multiple products and feature sets to be controlled using a single access point and interface. With BlueBOLT, voltage and current consumption can be monitored in real time or tracked over a time period. E -mail notifications are sent when power anomalies are detected, allowing installers and end users to take immediate action in the event of a catastrophic surge, brownout, blackout, or other power event. BlueBOLT also provides a simple and convenient way to manage energy consumption by cutting off all current to select components, thereby eliminating wasteful stand -by power in an A/V system.

BlueBOLT technology is available via an add -on card compatible with select Panamax and Furman products.

M4315 -PRO Power Conditioner
Panamax will be demonstrating the first PRO power management product to feature BlueBOLT™ capability: the M4315 -PRO. The 15A, 1 -RU unit combines control with "pro" level linear filtration for an optimal home theater experience. The M4315 -PRO includes the BlueBOLT CV -1 card as well as a standard RS -232 communication card for remote control of outlets, enabling installers to automate equipment functionality. BlueBOLT provides external access to many more custom programming and monitoring features. The sturdy unit features a rackmount configuration for PRO installations, a detachable IEC power cord, and four isolated linear filtered outlet banks.

The M4315 -PRO is available at an MSRP of $649.95.
A 20 -Amp model, the M4320 -PRO is also available at an MSRP of $749.95.

MB1500 - Fully Programmable UPS
The MB1500 features a 12A capacity with 1500VA battery back -up, while including surge protection, automatic voltage regulation, and Linear Filtering Technology (LiFT). The included RS -232 interface allows the MB1500 to be integrated into a home network or managed remotely through Panamax's new BlueBOLT™ technology with the optional BlueBOLT CV -1 card. An optional 2 -RU 1500VA battery extension pack (BATT1500 -EXT) is also available to double the battery life of the unit.

The MB1500 is available at an MSRP of $1299.95.
The BlueBOLT CV -1 card is available at an MSRP of $249.95.
The BATT1500 -EXT is available at an MSRP of $649.95.
