GAO Fiber Optics' integrated optical multimeter, model 801, provides a high contrast backlit display and features a low voltage warning, automatic power off for energy -saving, a compact size, and a memory capacity of 50 data items. This portable multimeter is a combination of a laser source and an optical power meter. The laser source operates at dual wavelengths of 1310nm and 1550nm while the optical power meter module works at wavelengths from 800nm to 1600nm.This ideal complementary combination of modules makes the testing of fiber optics networks convenient as only one test instrument is required - additionally this represents cost savings. Various configurations of light source options and power meter options are available for this meter.
