SnapAV and BidMagic Partner to Provide Free Print Proposal Software to Dealers

SnapAV dealers can obtain BidMagic print proposal software, which enables dealers to create professional printed proposals of job bids that are well-organized, database driven and can be generated in less than ten minutes time, for free.

Charlotte, NC - July 27, 2009 - SnapAV, a manufacturer of more than 550 high -quality products for the custom audio -video channel, and BidMagic, the creator of professional proposal software for the custom installer, today announced a joint -partnership in which SnapAV dealers can obtain the BidMagic software for free.

Under the program, SnapAV will send dealers the BidMagic software for a 6 -month free trial period. A percentage of each dealer's SnapAV purchases will then be applied towards receiving the software (a $1,299 value) for free at the conclusion of the trial period.

The BidMagic software enables dealers to create professional printed proposals of job bids that are well -organized, database driven and can be generated in less than ten minutes time. The program can associate products; build packages and even display quotes by room, by product category and by build -out stage.

"This is a partnership between two like -minded companies. SnapAV and BidMagic both share a goal of helping custom integrators increase their profits," says SnapAV President Jay Faison. "Between handling the day -in and day -out tasks of product ordering, selling, and installing, an integrators' time is often spread thin. BidMagic is a great tool to help ease the burden of administrative tasks, enabling dealers to focus more on revenue opportunities and selling effectively."

"This partnership provides SnapAV dealers with two distinct benefits," furthered Faison. "First, our dealers will be able to use BidMagic software absolutely free for 6 months. Second, during those 6 months, all SnapAV purchases will count toward the purchase of the BidMagic software. Earning the software for free should be easily obtainable for a custom business of any size."

"The proposal plays an integral role in the selling process and integrators should take pride in their presentation," says BidMagic President Rich Riehl adding, "SnapAV 'gets it.' They understand that BidMagic creates a system solution to help their dealers manage their products, prices and labor. They have created special packages so their dealers can start seeing sales results right away. This is a win/win solution for SnapAV dealers."

Universal Robots - Collaborative Robot Solutions

Universal Robots is a result of many years of intensive research in robotics. The product portfolio includes the UR5 and UR10 models that handle payloads of up to 11.3 lbs. and 22.6 lbs. respectively. The six-axis robot arms weigh as little as 40 lbs. with reach capabilities of up to 51 inches. Repeatability of +/- .004" allows quick precision handling of even microscopically small parts. After initial risk assessment, the collaborative Universal Robots can operate alongside human operators without cumbersome and expensive safety guarding. This makes it simple and easy to move the light-weight robot around the production, addressing the needs of agile manufacturing even within small- and medium sized companies regarding automation as costly and complex. If the robots come into contact with an employee, the built-in force control limits the forces at contact, adhering to the current safety requirements on force and torque limitations. Intuitively programmed by non-technical users, the robot arms go from box to operation in less than an hour, and typically pay for themselves within 195 days. Since the first UR robot entered the market in 2009, the company has seen substantial growth with the robotic arms now being sold in more than 50 countries worldwide.
