2009 Incentive Trip Brings Top -Performing Dealers to the Cradle of Italian Culture
Miramar, FL -July 15, 2009 -In a weeklong tour of the Tuscan Region of Italy, SIM2's top -performing US dealers enjoyed a taste of Italian sights, culture and an abundance of authentic food and wine. Continuing its annual tradition, SIM2 USA brings its top -selling dealers to Italy to experience the country best known for its fine food, wines, automobiles, furniture, fashion and, why not, projectors!
The group of twenty landed in Rome and toured monuments like the Colosseo, Circo Massimo and the Vatican. From there, they arrived in the very private Villa Lecchi in the heart of the Chianti Region, close to the world -renowned city of San Gimignano. After a warm reception, the group enjoyed a whirlwind adventure -from visits to the city of Siena (birthplace of the Italian language), to the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the wonderful art at the Museum of Firenze.
This select group also enjoyed wine -tasting sessions at famous local wine producers, but the highlight of the trip was an exclusive preview of some of SIM2's future products (to be introduced at CEDIA 2009). Massimo Zecchin, who was recently appointed Chief Operating Officer for SIM2 USA, presented these exciting new products to the enthusiastic dealers.

"We believe it's important to share Italian culture with our dealers so they understand the passion that drives our product design and craftsmanship. We of course conducted some business, but the majority of the trip was devoted to enjoying Italy and all it has to offer. We believe next year SIM2 will have even more participating dealers on the trip if current selling trends continue."
