Samsung, Coca-Cola, Ford and London2012 to share their experiences at Europe's leading digital signage forum
AMSTERDAM, 12 JANUARY 2009: With two months to go before the DOOH Business Conference opens its doors for the first time, the event's seminar programme has been finalised and a number of key brands have confirmed their participation. Representatives from Samsung, Coca -Cola, the Ford Motor Company, Bayer AG, the Co -Operative Group and the London2012 Olympics will all be sharing their thoughts and experiences in a moderated panel discussion on the subject of 'Digital Out Of Home Media: Do They Fuel The Business Of A Brand?'
Underlining the real -world emphasis of the Conference, other presentations will include case studies on the rollouts of digital signage in the Carrefour and Amavita retail chains, while Metro Group will highlight some of the technologies being deployed in its Future Store Initiative - including interactive 360 -degree displays, multimedia terminals and ambient sound.
"Our DOOH Business Conference will pose a number of key questions, as well as offering solutions," comments Mike Blackman, Managing Director, Integrated Systems Events. "How can digital signage be used to enhance a brand? How important are the network's locations? Which technologies work best in different environments? For anyone who has an interest in the design, supply and maintenance of digital signage systems, this will be a compelling series of presentations and discussions."
The DOOH Business Conference is divided into a series of sub -sections: Market Trends, Technology Trends, and Perspectives from Location Owners, Content Creators, Media Agencies, Special Agencies, and lastly the Advertisers themselves. It is this breadth of scope and opinion that truly defines the event as Europe's first truly 360° digital signage conference.
A further USP for the event is its co -location with Integrated Systems Europe - the continent's largest tradeshow for professional AV and electronic systems integration - where over 500 exhibitors will be showcasing new audiovisual technologies, many of them directly applicable to digital signage.
While ISE runs from 3 -5 February 2009 at the Amsterdam RAI, the DOOH Business Conference begins the day before, on 2 February. The Conference structure gives delegates the opportunity to visit ISE for at least half a day, and Exhibition admission is included in the Conference registration fee.
