Vision X by Vutec Motorized Rising-Arm Screen That "Rises" On Command From Beautiful Handcrafted Cabinet wins Custom Retailers EXC!TE Award.

[Pompano Beach, FL - October 2, 2008] - Retracta -Vu Pro In a Handcrafted Designer Cabinet, a Vutec Vision X product, has been awarded the EXC!TE Award by Custom Retailer Magazine. The award is given for Excellence in Custom Installed Technologies and Electronics. "The EXC!TE Awards pay tribute to the products that best exemplify the excitement and growth of the custom consumer electronics industry," according to the editorial staff of Custom Retailer Magazine.


The awards are selected by Custom Retailer's editorial team led by Editor -in -Chief Maureen Jensen. This year the team honored a few dozen entries from a field of over 450.

Vutec Corporation, a global leader in video projection screen technology, recently introduced the product, receiving outstanding enthusiasm at CEDIA in Denver. The automatic rising arm screen rises and descends with the touch of a remote, is available in three standard HDTV sizes: 92", 103", or 110" Diagonal. Custom sizes are also available.

"The cabinet includes equipment space and provisions for built -in speakers," said Vutec's president, Howard Sinkoff.

The screen interfaces with low voltage relays, IR and RF remote controls. It features the popular internally tensioned Vu -Flex Pro fabric.
