Coopersburg, PA (September 4, 2008) - Lutron Electronics is making it simpler for installers to include table and floor lamps in a HomeWorks system.

The new in -line lamp socket module mounts directly under a lamp shade and provides a clean, intuitive solution for homeowners.

The lamp socket module:
• dims incandescent and halogen light sources
• switches fluorescent sources (providing homeowners with an eco -friendly option)
• communicates wirelessly as part of a HomeWorks system

This innovative, new solution is available starting in January.
