Accell Declares Availability of the Much -Anticipated UltraRun 1.3 HDMI Cables

With the excitement enveloping the abilities of HDMI 1.3, Blu-ray and the abundance of affordable HDTVs, Accell proudly presents the UltraRun 1.3 cables

Fremont, Calif., June 10, 2008 - Accell, a leader of enhanced connectivity, has announced the availability of the newest addition to their UltraRun product line, the UltraRun 1.3 HDMI cables. This new line of long -length HDMI 1.3 compatible cables offers considerable enhancements over previous cable versions, particularly increased transmission speed, Deep Color capability and high -definition sound support. With prices starting at $279 MSRP, these cables are available in lengths ranging from 33 ft. (10m) up to 82 ft. (25m).

For those looking to optimize the performance of A/V equipment, Accell's line of UltraRun high speed cables offers the perfect solution. Although some may be without HDMI 1.3 compliant systems today, the UltraRun 1.3 cables will prepare systems for scalability in future upgrades. In addition, these cables are UL Listed CL3 and CSA FT4 rated, and are ideal for in -wall installation, desirable when installing a wall -mounted display or projector.

The UltraRun 1.3 cable features a built -in signal repeater that regenerates the digital signal and supports bandwidth requirements up to 6.75Gbps (225MHz). In addition, the UltraRun 1.3 HDMI cable boasts a striking feature that allows the repeater module, should it become inoperable, to be replaced without having to remove the cable from inside the wall. The repeater module, located on the display side of the cable, is detachable and can be quickly replaced without disruption.

"A large amount of interest in HDMI 1.3 has been generated due to the excitement surrounding HDMI 1.3, Blu -ray and the rapid availability of reasonably priced HDTVs," stated Michael Weizer, Accell's Director of Marketing. "Accell recognizes the growing need for enhanced cables for A/V applications, and we will continue to expand our product line as well as innovative ways to evolve existing products in form and function."
