Rodin Promotes Steve Hakes to Sr. Vice President - Sales

Hakes will now be Responsible for Identifying and Selling to Domestic National and Strategic Accounts, and Overseeing Int'l Sales and Domestic Zone Managers for the Phoenix Gold®, AudioSource®, and Carver® Brands

PORTLAND, Ore., April 1, 2008 - Rodin is proud to announce that it has promoted Steve Hakes senior vice president - sales. In this position, Hakes will be responsible for identifying and selling to domestic national and strategic accounts, and overseeing international sales and the company's regional marketing mangers for the Phoenix Gold®, AudioSource®, and Carver® brands in the mobile audio and home audio/video markets.

This is done through exceptional in -house product design and engineering based in Portland, Oregon. Rodin's new ownership and executive management team has tremendous business expertise, which will maintain a profit structure that will ensure long term success in the CE market."

Hakes, who is based in Dallas, has more than 10 years industry experience, including regional and national accounts managerial duties with Pioneer Electronics (USA) and JVC Company of America. At Pioneer, Hakes helped develop and refine the company's "factory inventory plan to sell", which was implemented for use with major account to ensure a better chain of supply for the factory as well as the national account retailers. Besides his consumer electronics sales and marketing history, Hakes has also spent time with consumer products giant Frigidaire Home Products, as well as turn -key computer systems companies for retail operations.

In August 2007, the company announced that one year after investment group PHX AP Acquisitions purchased Phoenix Gold International, the new management team renamed the parent company "Rodin". Individual brand names Phoenix Gold®, AudioSource®, and Carver® remain unchanged.
