Nick Carter and Zachary Piech launched MetaRip in 2006 to provide server -grade media loading for system integrators. After frustration with the state of software tools and metadata services, they discovered Get Digital Data. MetaRip adopted Encode Center software and GD3 metadata with immediate success.
