Irvine, CA. - January 7, 2008 - VIZIO, America's Fastest Growing Flat Panel HDTV Company, announced today six models that will comprise their new Evolution Series of LCD HDTVs. Three of the new models, the VO42LF [42 -inch], the VO47LF [47 -inch] and the VO52LF [52 -inch] are Full 1080p HDTVs, each with four HDMI inputs. The three smaller sized models, the VO22L [22 -inch], the VO32L [32 -inch] and the VO37L [37 -inch] will feature 720p resolution, yet offer many of the same features and accessories as the larger Full 1080p sets.
While the piano black bezel construction has been a distinguishing characteristic of VIZIO's, the entire Evolution Series will sport a bold and elegant contemporary flat black design that is sure to appeal to the most style conscious consumers. The VO42LF, VO47LF and VO52LF will sport Full 1080p High Definition performance and four HDMI inputs for a wide range of external devices including cable/satellite set top boxes, high definition disc players such as HD -DVD and Blu -Ray as well as new 1080p gaming consoles like Playstation3 and Xbox 360.
VIZIO's Evolution does not stop there however, with an expanded assortment of High Definition 720p performance in the new VO22L, VO32L, and VO37L Flat Panel LCD's. While the smaller 22 -inch VO22L LCD features two HDMI inputs and 1680x1050 resolution, the more feature rich VO32L and VO37L bear the load with two HDMI rear inputs while adding an additional side access High Definition Game Port with HDMI connectivity, picture -in -picture, picture -on -picture, zoom and freeze frame and a VIZIO custom remote control. Additionally, enhanced video performance is achieved with reduced pixel noise, improved contrast and advanced color balancing and equalization.
Key to the Evolution series of products is VIZIO's understanding that HDMI affords consumers the ultimate in HDTV connectivity. As a result, each product within the Evolution VO series of products will include a 6' HDMI cable and Deluxe Size Cleaning Cloth.
