Next Generation Adds to Its Stylish Line of HTPC Casings

Mid Size Unit Features Two 5.25” and Four 3.5” Drive Bays

City of Industry, CA – November 14, 2007 – X -Gene, the brand name for Next Generation Tech, Inc. products, announces the introduction of a new home theater PC case to its product line. The mid -size PN -01009 offers the ability to custom -build your HTPC. It comes in a stylish brushed silver finish that will complement many of the existing home entertainment set -top boxes.

The new unit joins the mid -size black PN -01007, already in the company’s product line. All X -Gene HTPC cases feature six drive bays and multi expansion slots, providing superior flexibility. These high quality horizontal cases are constructed of sturdy SECC metal and come with aluminum front panels. Strategically placed air vents provide excellent airflow. Likewise, the units’ internal design offers ample room for air circulation.

Mid -Size X -Gene HTPC Cases
X -Gene’s mid -size HTPC cases PN -01007 (black) and PN -01009 (silver) are designed to accommodate both ATX and micro ATX motherboards. The included rear -mounted 80mm x 80mm fan helps disperse any heat before damage can be done to internal components. For extra -cooling capability, space is provided for optional side fans. X -Gene mid -size home theater cases include two exposed 5.25” drive bays, and two each 3.5” exposed and hidden drive bays. It has seven expansion slots, and front I/O ports. An ATX (PS2) power supply unit, such as offered by X -Gene, is recommended. The units measure 6” x 15” x 17” (whd) and weigh approximately 11 pounds.

X -Gene also markets three power supply units that are 100% compatible with its HTPC cases. Available in 650W, 750W, and 850W sizes, each comes with a 5.3” silent fan with large blades that provide exceptional heat dissipation.
