For Listener Giveaway, Leon Provides One-of-a-Kind Pair of Custom-Built Acoustic Cafe Speakers

As the official sponsor of Acoustic Cafe's online media player, Leon has been giving away Timbre 114 exotic hardwood bookshelf speakers each month since July. The media player promotion will culminate in a grand prize giveaway in December 2007.


Acoustic Cafe has served as an international showcase for new and classic acoustic music on the radio since 1994. Each week, the station airs two hours of music, plus live in -studio interviews and performances from artists such as Norah Jones, Ani DiFranco, John Mayer, Emmylou Harris, and more. At Acoustic Cafe Online (www.acafe.com), listeners can play the entire show through the 'Leon Speakers Media Player,' which provides on -demand access each week.

Each month, Acoustic Cafe has been awarding a pair of Leon's Timbre 114 bookshelf speakers - - valued at $1,500 - - to one lucky listener. Each speaker is handmade using kiln -dried 'flamed' maple, the same wood used to craft world -class acoustic stringed instruments. This custom speaker is designed to authentically reproduce the high -fidelity live recordings featured on the show.

The monthly giveaway will run through November 2007. In December 2007 Acoustic Cafe will give away the grand prize: a pair of one -of -a -kind, reference -grade, solid hardwood speakers designed especially for Acoustic Cafe by Leon and valued at $4,500.
