WHAT DO YOU GIVE SOMEONE WHO HAS EVERYTHING? HOW ABOUT A $200,000 3 CHIP 1080P RUNCO PROJECTOR?
Network Audio Visual (NAV), the Australian distributor of Runco has recently delivered the first 1080P 3 chip Runco DLP outside the USA.
"We have never seen anything like this in Australia before, it's an absolute beast" said Claver Harper MD of NAV. "It's not every day you deliver one of these machines as it truly represents state of the art DLP technology and true high end Home Cinema."
The projector was delivered and installed into an exclusive residence in Sydney by high end Integration Company, AVD Australia, St Leonards. The residence took over two years to complete and over $3 million was spent on A/V and integration alone. Included in the installation were lighting control, multi room audio, security, and not one, but two cinemas featuring Runco projectors and an AMX front end to control it all.
"There are only a handful of houses like this in Australia" said Sandy Howard of AVD, " but this one has already been recognised by Runco and AMX as one of the best in the world and AVD is very proud to have delivered a true vertically integrated house that is completely future proof".
At CEDIA USA Runco outshone all its competitors by releasing 6 new 1080P DLP projectors including the top of the line VX55. The VX55 incorporates the latest DLP technology and a list of patent pending Runco features including Cine Optics Lenses, Axi shift motorised lens shift, Opath light technology and the award winning Vivix II processing.
The VX55 handles resolutions from 480P to 1080P, outputs an amazing 8000 ansi lumens, has variable contrast ratios and will handle a massive 9 metre wide screen.
It is also one of the only projectors in the world to hold both THX and ISF certification.
