AwoX Demonstrates Its Latest Network Media Solutions at CES 2007

Montpellier, January 8th 2007 - AwoX, a leader in the home networking market, exhibits a wealth of network media solutions at its booth #35650, South Hall 4, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Montpellier, January 8th 2007 - AwoX, a leader in the home networking market, exhibits a wealth of network media solutions at its booth #35650, South Hall 4, at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

AwoX demonstrates its DLNA 1.5 server, renderer and controller on PC platform, as well as its two reference designs, SALAI for audio/video applications and MOZART for audio only applications.



SALAI leverages TI's fully programmable TMS320DM644x processors based on DaVinci technology,. Based on SALAI, AwoX exposes two entirely customizable products, a network TV plug -in and a digital media adapter.



The Scott Wireless Media Center (WMC) is also featured on AwoX's booth. Product to be launched Q1 2007 in Europe by Alfa Technology Ltd., it is based on AwoX's SALAI reference design. Scott WMC enables you to access wirelessly to media stored on your home computers. It can also record your favorite TV shows. Its innovative design include a front 2.5" LCD screen to select music even when the TV is off. Last, you can easily connect a USB or SD/MMC storage and share it on your home network.



AwoX will also demonstrate SALAI on Texas Instruments Suite #373 at the Hilton Hotel, on Digital Living Network Alliance's (DLNA) Booth #26811, as well as in a power -line communication configuration at Intellon's Hilton Suite #5.100.

MOZART powers a Wireless Internet Radio that features 5'500 worldwide web radio stations provided via VTuner service, without any requirement for a PC. In addition, this ready -to -market product includes a FM radio. It can also play any media available on USB or SD/MMC storage as well as it can record web radio, FM stations or local microphone.
