Process DSG Utilizes D -Tools Software to Help L'Aventure Winery Increase Profits and Triple Sales

Learn how L'Aventure Winery increased sales through the use of My Media Machine, subsidiary business of D-Tools certified Partner, Process DSG.

CONCORD, CA - NOVEMBER 15, 2006 - D -Tools, Inc., the worldwide leader in system integration software, today announced that Process Dealer Services Group has utilized D -Tools System Integrator™ software to help create and deliver My Media Machine, a high definition audio/video system for L'Aventure, a winery located in Paso Robles, CA. L'Aventure, which specializes in premium wines and an inviting atmosphere, is experiencing an increase in profitability and sales by utilizing My Media Machine (MMM).

Located in the beautiful rolling hills of Paso Robles, CA, L'Aventure Winery was founded in 1996, by Stephan Asseo, who has been in the wine industry for nearly two decades. L'Aventure Winery offers its guests premium wine tasting in a small intimate space that reflects the prefect blend of technology and tradition.

Also located in Paso Robles, CA and founded in 2004, Process Dealer Services Group (DSG), founder of MMM, specializes in system design, engineering, and project management techniques using industry standard software from D -Tools. D -Tools' market -leading System Integrator is used by over 2,000 leading system integration companies to simplify the complicated design, engineering, and documentation process associated with the design, installation, and integration of low -voltage systems - enabling Process DSG to quickly and easily generate floor plans, schematics, line diagrams, functional views, and visually -rich proposals for commercial and residential audio/video projects.

D -Tools software was introduced to Process DSG founder, Kevin Mikelonis, in 1998 at CEDIA EXPO. He soon adopted D -Tools System Integrator software into his entire business process. Now a D -Tools Certified Partner, Process DSG offers sales, configuration, deployment, and training of D -Tools Software to match any company's unique business process. "D -Tools is a solid company with a solid product that keeps current in meeting the needs of our industry, and there is constant improvement to the software year after year. It is a must have for any Electronic Systems Contractor with one or more employees," said Mikelonis.

Kevin realized that he could use his extensive knowledge of D -Tools software to develop a system that incorporated high definition video and music that would deliver value to various companies by enhancing brand awareness and atmospheres. This system as well as Process DSG's subsidiary business became known as My Media Machine (MMM).

Before the origin of MMM, Process DSG interviewed the predominant Media Center System Builders of the industry looking for a company who would meet their applications and fulfill their needs. They looked for 6 months and received disappointing responses, until they found 2PartsFusion through the D -Tools SI 4 Navigator Page. 2PartsFusion is a D -Tools Manufacturer Vantage Point (MVP) program member as well as a Certified Media Center Builder. The D -Tools MVP program provides D -Tools users with free product information from over 80 leading manufacturers available via download for use in their SI projects. Process DSG learned about 2PartsFusion products and soon integrated the technology into the MMM specification.

"2PartsFusion is a dedicated pioneer just like we are in this emerging channel. Pioneers need the support of other dedicated and experienced innovators in order to succeed," said Mikelonis. "Harris Coltrain, Vice President of Sales for 2PartsFusion, was eager to support our efforts, build Media Center Systems to meet our applications, and has been committed to supporting Process DSG as one of its customers in navigating the new channel of Media Center installations. It is completely due to the D -Tools MVP program that 2PartsFusion and Process Companies connected to form a valued relationship. We are no doubt learning from each other in the early stages of Media Center applications in Commercial and Residential use."

L'Aventure founder, Stephan Asseo, first noticed MMM at Kevin and Heather Mikelonis's wedding where it was used to run photos to background music. Impressed with the quality, he envisioned the possibilities for his tasting room and the use of it as an innovative and interactive marketing tool. He quickly adopted MMM into his tasting room, and L'Aventure became the first winery to utilize and benefit from its advantages.

L'Aventure is a very personal and intimate winery and Asseo wanted to convey that image through the use of MMM. He wanted to inform as well as educate their customers and MMM increased their ability to do that. "People get really excited when they see the display showing our marketing collateral, pictures of our vineyards, winemakers, and the general happenings at L'Aventure, then it sparks an interest and they want to ask questions about what they see", said Asseo. Customers inquire about things that interest them based on the slideshow, and it prompts discussion about the winery, promoting brand awareness.

MMM also helped L'Aventure increase its brand loyalty through the use of images and sounds that grab the customer's attention, and hold it. "During the periods of time when a customer is tasting wines, or when there is a lull in the conversation, they watch the display and ask more questions about the winery based on the content that is shown, helping them remember us."

L'Aventure Winery is experiencing an increase in profitability and has tripled their sales of featured products, and implementing My Media Machine is a contributing factor. "Through our use of MMM, people are more aware of the vertical specials and are more likely to buy them. We are selling more wine as a result of implementing MMM into our business," Asseo said.

MMM has also enticed conversations about L'Aventure, creating customer buzz around the tasting room. "Customers actually learn about the products because they are able to view a prominent photo which sparks conversation between customers and staff versus having to pick up a piece of paper or a brochure and read about it", said Asseo.

Process DSG uses D -Tools to design their single room solutions from the optimized database of products, for their unique market. They deliver systems based on digital content servers combined with various video display and distributed audio options to the Wine Industry for use in entertaining and educating their tasting room guests. Process DSG's use of D -Tools has enhanced their professionalism, resulting in a 20% increase in revenue over competitors. "It's a lofty claim, but it is backed up consistently by hearing from every client that our presentation and professionalism stands out above other competitors", said Mikelonis. They have been able to create a repeatable business process that supports their use with D -Tools and creates value for potential new clients. The professionalism that Process DSG exudes is reflected every time a winery incorporates their system, My Media Machine.
