(Salt Lake City, UT - October 2006) LiteTouch, Inc. announced its support as Founding Partner of the Home Lighting Control Alliance (HCLA), a newly formed organization dedicated to raising awareness of lighting control systems among consumers, homebuilders, and the professional trade.
LiteTouch and nearly two dozen companies, organizations and media outlets have united to spearhead an exciting new marketing initiative to raise awareness of the value and benefits of lighting control systems for the home.
Inspired by the success of past such marketing initiatives undertaken by Wiring America's Homes promoting structured wiring and by the Distributed Audio Alliance promoting multi -room audio, the Home Lighting Control Alliance will fund an aggressive awareness and educational campaign to increase overall growth of the lighting control industry.
Main areas of focus will include residential applications for new construction, renovation and quality retrofit installations. Core product areas will consist of dimming systems (hard -wired and wireless), control keypads and interfaces, as well as lighting control system integration for a room and a whole house.
"LiteTouch has been pioneering this type of lighting control awareness -building advertising on its own. Some of our recent ad headlines are, 'Lighting control can make a real difference in your life.' and 'There is no substitute for a great lighting control system.' So we're thrilled to work with this group to take this message to a larger audience," said Angie Larson, Director of Marketing at LiteTouch.
