NetStreams® launches Streaming Music Manager SMM100 - a Marriage between its StreamNet™ technology and the DigiFiTM platform from Digital Fidelity

Denver, Co - September 14th, 2006 - Digital Fidelity, London based content platform specialists, have are delighted to announce that they have entered into a substantial License Agreement with NetStreams. Their software is licensed to OEMs for the manufacture of traditional and/or 'virtual' music servers and NetStreams chose the DigiFiTM platform on which to build their groundbreaking SMM100 Streaming Music Manager. NetStreams has launched the SMM100 to complement their highly acclaimed DigiLinX™ IP -based multi -room audio/video & control system, powered by their StreamNet™ technology.

"NetStreams' credentials in the field of IP audio distribution are of the highest order, and we are delighted to have been selected to partner such a cutting edge brand," commented John Booth, Managing Director of Digital Fidelity.

"We chose Digital Fidelity for a number of reasons" indicated Doug Parse, Head of Engineering and R&D at NetStreams. "We were looking for a partner with whom we could build a relationship and where we could play a significant part in bringing ideas to the table. The DigiFiTM platform was originally conceived with in -built flexibility from the bottom up, and this has allowed us to select the functionality we needed to create a true NetStreams product, not clone, in the full context of our brand values."

The SMM100 Streaming Media Manager is a 'virtual server' and seeks out all music stored on shared drives in the home environment and presents this in the music library for playback via the DigiLinX network. The DigiFiTM platform does this intelligently and pro -actively without the need for intrusive software agents on the source PC or drive. "This consumer is becoming very aware of the dangers of their PC becoming clogged up with software elements they don't want which at worst open up their PC to external attack - it was very important to us that the scanning elements of DigiFiTM worked completely independently" stressed Parse, "Multiple streams from all these sources can be created and played out simultaneously."

About Digital Fidelity

Headquartered in London, Digital Fidelity is a manufacturing and software consultancy that specialises in supplying flexible, efficient, and sophisticated platform solutions to international audio -visual manufacturers for the creation of products that store, control and playback digital content. Backed by substantial private investment and in partnership with leading hardware and software providers, Digital Fidelity focuses on four key insights in the digital content space:

That there is a clear need for silent, powerful and 'sexy' products that will be 'at home in the home'; not dressed -up PCs but true Consumer Electronics products. Secondly that the consumer's digital content is rarely stored neatly in one place, but may be located on any number of disparate devices - portable and fixed. Thirdly, to control this content, there is a corresponding need for a suite of usable interfaces that are fast, intuitive and interactive which enthuse the user to play and manage otherwise inaccessible music and video. Lastly, manufacturers need highly flexible platforms that empower them to create truly competitive products that are consistent with existing ranges, are capable of reflecting sophisticated brand values.

Digital Fidelity supports these key principles by continuing to innovate and develop integrated hardware/software packages based on their acclaimed DigiFiTM platform. DigiFiTM also integrates seamlessly with most popular multi -room systems.
