DALLAS, TX, Feb. 22, 2006 - Electronic Lane Distributing, a member of The EDGE Distributors Group, a nationwide association of consumer electronics distributors serving the custom installation and retail markets, has announced that the Consumer Electronics Expo 2006, a new and expanding regional trade -show and new product showcase for custom installation and electronics dealers, will be held March 18 -19 at the Marriott Quorum Hotel, here in Dallas.

Now in its second year, Consumer Electronics Expo 2006 is jointly sponsored by two other Dallas -area distributors, Sunbelt Associates & Distributing, and Southwest Electronix. Last year's sold -out show drew nearly 1,300 attendees and about 300 dealers. A full house is expected again this year.

"We're excited to have a new opportunity to show dealers the terrific products and product lines available to them in their market, and to demonstrate the superior training and support we're able to provide," said Woody Taylor, Electronic Lane's Executive Vice President. "We know everyone will also benefit from the training seminars, and we're doing our best to make sure they do."

Consumer Electronics Expo evolved from a series of smaller dealer shows presented in earlier years by each of the individual sponsors.
