17" and 19" Models Are Elegant, High-End, Easy To Use
Garden Grove, Calif. - - Feb. 13, 2006 - - Xerox displays by PTI announces that office supply superstore Office Depot has added two new Xerox flat -panel LCD displays to its product mix: the 19" model XG -91D and 17" model XR3 -17GS. The products are now available in over 1,000 U.S. Office Depot locations.
"With a sophisticated design, advanced features, and Energy Star classification, the LCD displays are the perfect choice for demanding business professionals and an attractive solution for home applications," said Erin Rippee, vice president of marketing of Garden Grove, Calif. -based Proview Technology Inc., an official licensee of Xerox.
The XG -91D is an elegant black LCD monitor with a chrome base. It has a 19" viewable panel, and provides a 170 -degree horizontal viewing angle. Its glass cover makes it one of few models in its class to incorporate a glass filter to protect LCD screens. Features include dual digital/analog interfacing for increased connectivity; 16.7 million colors; and an 800:1 contrast ratio for truly crisp image quality. The XG -91D is available at Office Depot for $399.
The XR3 -17GS is a stylish silver and black monitor with a silver base. It has a 17" viewable panel and offers a 160 -degree horizontal viewing angle. This monitor offers exceptional brightness and produces a clear, high quality image. Features include 16.2 million colors; a 500:1 contrast ratio for clear image quality; and a video response time of 8 milliseconds. The XR3 -17GS is available at Office Depot for $299.

Both models are PC and Mac compatible, offer plug -and -play convenience, can be mounted on walls, and can display images with a maximum native resolution of up to 1280 x 1024. Both models are covered by a one -year manufacturer's limited warranty, covering all parts and labor. An extended warranty is available.
In addition, the units are Energy Star® rated. The Energy Star program was developed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to help businesses and individuals protect the environment through the use of energy -efficient appliances and office equipment. Xerox LCD displays reduce energy costs by two -thirds compared to CRT monitors. Xerox LCD displays are ideal for corporate environments, where desktop space is at a premium and power cost savings are appreciated.
Office Depot intends to promote Xerox displays with periodic rebates.
