Media Dynamics East Undertakes Major Expansion

Thornhill, Ontario, June 2005: Media Dynamics' Eastern Campus, the licensed Private Career College for home and car audio and electronics installation technicians, recently moved to its new 20,000 square foot campus a mile from its previous location to facilitate its expanding career training for U.S. and international students wanting to enter the residential custom home installation and electronics field. This marks the third corporate home in the past 15 years and represents a doubling in area over its current location.

While the company has grown steadily over the past decade, new key areas of growth have pushed the company into a desperate need for more space. "Since establishing our core Mobile Electronics program as the industry standard in the early 1990's, we have added several other programs that expand our support of the consumer electronics industry" commented Derek Lee, (President) referring to the addition of new courses including L6 (system design and sales), Phase X and Phase XX (advanced fabrication skills for installers), and Sport Tuning (retail aftermarket vehicle enhancements). The company's Media Dynamics Residential Systems program ( continues to grow and is becoming a key hiring source for new Custom Home Electronics installers specializing in home theater, distributed audio, video, and automation.

A key addition in space usage is the Courseware Development division, which houses and operates the company's Live Internet Training Delivery Server and is currently developing or delivering customized training programs for several key clients in the U.S. and Canada. "Our new L6 Consumer Electronics Sales Skills Preparedness program will have the classroom sessions delivered online, followed by face to face regional skills development for those participants that successfully complete the online phase" stated Lee, adding "by pre -qualifying the participants, we can ensure the client is investing future training in the most effective ways". The company's unique ability to combine specific training content for the retail consumer products segment with its online training servers has led to business relationships with several high profile national retailers and wholesalers needing training for existing employees and new hires.

The bulk of the additional space is allocated to the campus training areas, enlarging the classroom selection and providing a spacious trainee lounge area. The hands -on lab will double in size, allowing for up to 16 vehicles in two of three separate lab areas. "We committed to hands on training of apprentice technicians by building a "training house" inside the campus" recalls Stephen Berman, Program Manager. "We now have a new training house capable of 16 zone areas over two floors".

Existing and new training partners have also joined in to support the growth of the school by providing training materials and sample products including Speaker Craft, who recently provided the school with product for its skills verification stations. The company will continue to integrate product usage into its training program delivery and development.

Mobile Dynamics Corporation (East), the industry's only licensed Private Career College for mobile electronics with additional National Accreditation was founded in the Richmond Hill suburb of Toronto in 1990. Its mission is to provide training and support services to the consumer electronics industry in the U.S. and Canada, emphasizing aftermarket mobile electronics, custom home installation and sales training and retail support services.
