CEDIA EXPO, Indianapolis, Sept. 10, 2004 - Meda™ Systems, Inc., an innovative technology company whose digital media servers and software distribute entertainment throughout the home, has announced the appointment of Larry Huie as Inside Sales Manager, and Robb Lazarus as Director of Special Projects.

Mr. Huie and Mr. Lazarus are both industry veterans with strong backgrounds in sales and management, and particular experience in establishing essential structures and systems for new technology -based companies. The appointments follow Meda's recent move to a spacious new headquarters facility in Emeryville, where it continues to roll out its new line of synchronized multi -source, multi -zone Brávo™ Music Servers.

Larry Huie

A specialist in consumer electronics for nearly two decades, Larry Huie has served with several of the industry's leading Consumer Electronics retailers. Before joining Meda, he was a leading sales producer at Magnolia Audio Video. Prior to Magnolia, he served for nine years at Cambridge Soundworks, beginning as one of the company's original Store Managers and rising to the position of Regional Sales Manager and Installation Project Manager.

At Cambridge Soundworks, Mr. Huie led the build -out of the stores' sound rooms, including construction and installation of Cambridge product offerings. He then went on to open and manage several store locations. Later, as District Manager and leader of the West Coast arm of the company, he developed Cambridge's sales training program and established the Custom Install Division.

Mr. Huie also served as Senior Sales Counselor at The Good Guys!, where he excelled in introducing customers to Home Theater products from leading brands, including Denon, Yamaha, Sony and Technics.

Robb Lazarus

Robb Lazarus brings to Meda extensive experience managing multidisciplinary teams of engineers, graphic artists, and other professionals in the development of software, Web portals, and CD -ROMs. He has managed the development and launch of multimillion -dollar Web portal, as well as retail digital -image management software. He has also directed the development of localized and vertical -market versions of specialized image management software.

Prior to joining Meda, Mr. Lazarus served as Senior Project Manager for Kaiser Permanente, the nation's largest non -profit health care organization, where he managed a variety of projects, including the design and implementation of a broadly based communication plan for notifying large groups about changes in coverage language.

Before Kaiser, Mr. Lazarus served as Senior Project Manager for ISL Consulting, a leading Internet development and design firm. At ISL, he served as Senior Project Manager on projects for Yahoo, BEA Systems, Chevron and Pacific Bell; and also managed the development of Java -based Web sites employing advanced technologies, the largest of which was a sophisticated Web site for the leading publisher of drug information to the pharmaceutical industry. This entailed managing a multidisciplinary team of 12 professionals, including five Java engineers, as well as all aspects of planning, scheduling, development, and implementation.

Mr. Lazarus has also served as a Project Manager with Contractors eSource, a leading procurement service for building contractors and suppliers; and Director of Product Management for Gallery Systems, the leading provider of software and services that assist museums, galleries and collectors in organizing information about their collections. Among other achievements at Gallery Systems, Mr. Lazarus managed the development of eight commercial award -winning fine art CD -ROM reference titles.
