AURORA MULTIMEDIA TO DISPLAY WACI -NX AT CEDIA 2004

The Next Generation of Web Access Control Interface Gives a User Complete Control over Connected Peripherals from a Single Website

INDIANAPOLIS, IN, September 10, 2004 -Aurora Multimedia Corp., an industry leader in interactive communications and technology, will feature its WACI -NX (Web Access Control Interface) series of IP -based, palm -sized remote control devices at CEDIA 2004, booth #1710. Operating across multiple operating systems such as Windows, Linux, Windows CE, Palm OS and Mac OSX, the WACI -NX is non -platform specific and offers the freedom of non -proprietary programming choices. Programming the WACI -NX to monitor and control peripheral electronic devices can easily be done right from the built -in event manager or through Aurora's free GUI programming application, YIPI. For more advanced applications requiring web page programming, the WACI -NX is compatible with most standard web authoring tools, including Macromedia Flash, DHTML, HTML, JavaScripts, Java Applets and CGI Scripts.

"The WACI -NX is really a great way for someone to maximize their investment in top -shelf home theater equipment," states John Bilodeau, vice president of sales and marketing for Aurora Multimedia. "Not only can you take control of your home systems from your PDA, laptop or web -enabled cell phone, but you can also use a WACI -NX to expand your existing control systems including those proprietary systems and even simple, handheld IR remotes. It takes the idea of a 'universal' remote to an entirely different level."

The WACI -NX is the centerpiece of Aurora's control system offerings, which include the IBrowz touch panels and IPF expansion packs. The WACI -NX product line also includes the YIPI software application, which is free to download and free to use. YIPI makes it easy for anyone, including non -programmers, to program the WACI and make IBrowz touch panel control pages in Macromedia Flash.

In addition to home theater applications, the WACI -NX series works seamlessly in small - or medium -sized conference rooms, classrooms, home theaters, theme parks, stadiums and any other venue where diverse electronic equipment requires intelligent remote access. Its innovative open architecture design boasts a USB 1.1 On -The -Go port and a CF card slot for wireless network connectivity, memory expansion, port expansion and more.
