In conjunction with the introduction of its new LightSource brand name, Crestron joins key lighting trade organizations

ROCKLEIGH, NJ, March 31, 2004 - Crestron is announcing its membership in two key lighting trade organizations - the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) and the Lighting Industry Resource Council (LIRC).

These memberships, along with the introduction of the LightSource brand name, further illustrate Crestron's commitment to the lighting industry and the company's will to become a positive force for innovation in the lighting community.

Crestron has been building reliable lighting control systems for more than 20 years. LightSource by Crestron is the industry's most comprehensive lighting control and automation solution, encompassing five automation enclosures, seven module options and remote room dimmer and switch options.

"Our LightSource brand of lighting and automation products is a very important part of Crestron's business, both now and in the future," says Executive Vice President Randy Klein. "We want the lighting industry to embrace Crestron and LightSource as one of its own, so joining industry organizations like the IES and LIRC is essential to becoming part of this community."

Interface options include all of Crestron's 25 user interfaces, from touchpanels to keypads, as well as remotes and Web -based control using the Microsoft ActiveX -enabled e -Control 2 software.
