AVAD Selects Keith Davis As D2B Trainer

Davis Joins AVAD`s D2B Program as Trainer.

FT. LAUDERDALE, FL - October 21, 2003 - AVAD LLC, the nationwide distributor of custom home technology announced the addition of Keith Davis to the training staff of its Dealer to Builder (D2B) initiative. Mr. Davis is the primary trainer in the "AVAD Basic" program, which introduces dealers to different aspects of working within the builder market. D2B is AVAD's latest program aimed at diversifying the professional abilities of its corps of dealers by linking them with the qualified builders across the United States.

"Working to develop the 'AVAD Basic' program as part of D2B will be challenging and rewarding," stated Keith Davis, consultant and president of a/v/a tech. "It is imperative that dealers have the sales and management tools, training and certification necessary to meet or exceed the expectations of builders and their clients as the demand for custom home electronics increases. D2B provides dealers with new opportunities to increase their businesses by working with builders. In turn, builders can rest assured they will team up with a trained and certified professional installation company. All and all, D2B is a win -win situation for everyone involved."

"Keith's industry experience made him the clear choice for heading the 'AVAD Basic' segment of D2B," said Joe Piccirilli, managing director of AVAD. "The in -depth approach he's taken with all his professional endeavors, complements that of the rest of the D2B training staff. I'm confident the dealers who attend the D2B program will find his perspective extremely useful in learning to incorporate the builder market into their offering."

Davis' seminars aim at facilitating the dealer to builder interface: creating builder relationships, designing and selling pre -engineered equipment packages, financial aspects of working with builders, and business management issues. Dealers participating in the D2B certification process will also learn about each of the technological disciplines in which today's competitive custom installers must be proficient. Addressing home theater, whole -house audio/video, structured wiring, lighting, central vacuum, telephony, and networking, certified dealers will be equipped to provide the lifestyle benefits demanded in the existing builder market. After covering program materials authored by Joe Piccirilli, Frank White, Darrel McComber, as well as the "AVAD Basic" segment led by Keith Davis, participating dealers will take a certification test to be matched up with the appropriate home builder in accordance to the installers' qualifications.
