- Briefcase-Sized System With Innovative Panel Design Offers Incredible Room-Filling PA Sound -
Huntingdon, England, September 5, 2003 -Mission, the British company at the leading edge of loudspeaker innovation for over 25 years, is demonstrating an innovative new concept in "on -the -go" sound at CEDIA 2003 -the attractive, briefcase -sized Tecsonic portable PA system.
Ideal for "road warrior" executives, traveling salespeople, corporate presenters or anyone looking for a high -quality portable PA solution, Mission Tecsonic is a groundbreaking lightweight system that combines a specially designed full -range panel loudspeaker with an efficient mixer -amplifier. Tecsonic features all necessary accessories for providing an ideal sound reinforcement solution for PA, presentation and background music applications, and for easy and safe portability, the complete system is housed in a sturdy and protective carrying case.
Noted Graham Hallett of Mission USA: "Mission is dedicated to utilizing today's most advanced audio technologies to provide innovative, real -world solutions for our customers. The Tecsonic system, for example, literally changes everything when it comes to high quality portable sound. Until now, traveling executives and presenters often had to rely either on existing PA systems, or expensive rental units - both of which are bulky and could often prove unreliable. By providing an all -in -one solution that can be carried easily and even stored in an overhead bin, we're giving people all the PA power they need for effective, high -impact presentations every time and anywhere."
Mission utilizes advanced NXT technology in Tecsonic to provide a 360 -degree spread of natural speech and music quality without loss of detail and clarity, providing superlative full -room audio coverage. The unique thin profile, low -mass panel loudspeaker covers a frequency range from 130Hz to 20kHz without the need for a crossover or enclosure, avoiding the subjective distortions that negatively impact the audio output of conventional PA speakers.
Tecsonic's innovative panel speaker can be mounted on the supplied three piece, screw -together, floor stand or desk stand, and is supplied with a five -meter cable for connecting to its built -in 25W mixer -amplifier. Input from an included unidirectional microphone or optional wireless microphone can be mixed with a choice of two auxiliary line inputs from sources such as a CD player or computer.
A subwoofer output is provided if wide -bandwidth multimedia presentations are required, and a link output allows daisy chaining of units in order to cover large venues. The system can be powered by the included multi -region power supply that can operate at any voltage between 90 -240 volts AC, or it can run from 12V DC, for example, from a car's lighter socket.
The Mission Tecsonic system is designed to maximize the natural audio characteristics of any room's acoustics in order to provide all listeners with optimum clarity and natural, hi -fidelity quality. The system is ideal for use with laptop computers to enhance presentation quality, or portable projector systems for multi -media demonstration. The Tecsonic's lightweight "everything -in -a -case" approach is an attractive solution for virtually all portable PA requirements.
