Design and Display of Content for Applications, Services and Smart Devices

ProSyst Unveils mGUI Library 3.0 and mBrowser 3.0 ProSyst Software AG releases development tools for implementation into mobile phones, handhelds, set-top-boxes, digital TVs, and automotive infotainment systems

Using ProSyst's new releases of mGUI Library and

mBrowser, developers can easily create services and applications, such as infotainment content or Web -based services that can run on any platform embedded in vehicles, smart homes, and especially mobile devices. To provide more freedom in the development
process, these easy to use and lightweight tools are available both as standalone implementations and as service packages for ProSysts service delivery platform,
mBedded Server or any other framework compliant with the OSGi Service Platform Release 3.

mGUI Library is a Java Graphical User Interface library for embedded devices. Its structure, speed, size, and memory consumption are especially designed and optimized for use on platforms with limited resources. It is designed for developers who create rich
visual applications and services that run on devices such as PDAs, set top boxes, automotive infotainment/telematics systems, or interactive digital TVs. In addition, mGUI has extensive support for TV -screen resolutions.

mBrowser is a Java -based Web browser. The browser has a small memory footprint and can be customized to be easily embedded into resource -constrained devices. Despite its low memory consumption, it supports most Web standards, such as HTTP, SSL, HTML
4.0, JavaScript, XML, and CSS, providing a fully -featured browsing experience. The plugins for Flash, MP3 and AVI files turn mBrowser into a multimedia player while the TVoriented look & feel of the user interface meets the specific requirements of TV -screens.

Dr. Dimitar Valtchev, CTO Prosyst Software AG: "With the mGUI Library and the mBrowser Packages, we provide developers with the tools they need for the design of
user -friendly applications that run on devices with limited memory. Since the manufacturers want to offer connectivity and attractive design to their customers, the
included browser will become a crucial part of many infotainment systems, set -top -boxes, handhelds, and mobile phones."
