(70 meters) at 1080p over category cable with embedded multi-channel audio, CEC pass-through, bi-directional RS-232 and IR control, and PoE - all with zero loss and zero noise. The HCE III Tx/Rx also supports Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio plus LCPM (up to 192 kHz). To address the rapid oncoming of this new era of immersive visual experiences, manufacturers have developed and marketed not-so-ready 4K products and solutions as the only answers to 4K connectivity.

4K/60 - The Inconvenient Truth

With all eyes on 4K distribution and transport, manufacturers are now beginning to promise HDMI 2.0 support for complete 4K/60 connectivity. The truth or a reassuring lie?
