HomeVision is one of the newest and most powerful home control systems available today. What sets HomeVision apart from the others is it's built in Video capabilities. With this feature, you can view / control the status of your system via the TV set. Built in or customized menu screens walk you through the process.
The program allows control of devices including X-10, Infra Red, Relays etc. Programming is done via the software interface. First you define your devices using various setup screens for X10, IR, I/O etc. as well as such things as variables, timers and flags.

Next step is to set up Scheduled Events, Periodic Events, Macros etc. This is done in a similar manner with setup screens.
Sample Macro Set-up Screen
Once you've defined your scheduled and macro events, then it's time to program the "Actions" which are to take place when the event is activated (either by time or macro action). This is the actual programming of the system and is accomplished with easy to use code writing screens as shown below.
Sample Event "Action" Screen
The push buttons on the left define the device or action desired. Activating a button opens a dialog box allowing input options which will then "write the code" to the "Action" screen. No actual programming code is written by the user.
The program also allows direct control of any device as well a many other advanced features. One of the most powerful home control systems on the market today, HomeVision can do most anything you can imagine. The modular programming approach is becoming the industry standard. Lots of good help screens and easy installation and setup. At $599 this unit could be all you'll ever need.
